About Mignonne Gavigan
 
Mignonne Gavigan, known for her signature scarf necklace, started her jewelry line with a spare piece of fabric. As a fashion designer, Gavigan often worked with embellishments and vintage apparel. She took a loose piece of fabric and wore it as a necklace. After this experiment, she began seeing a cult following for her designer jewelry. In 2014, Gavigan recruited Layne Jacobs as her business partner. The pair has grown Mignonne Gavigan jewelry and developed various collections of handmade accessories.
